Tips for Nepal Telecom GPRS users

I am a user of NTC GPRS service. It has made me easy beacuse previously I had to change my "NTC Sim" with "Mero Mobile Sim" if I wanted to use Internet in my mobile. It was a very boring task and sometimes I use to miss some of my important calls. But now the problem has gone. NTC Internet for mobile is finally available. I use some applications that are very easy to use and also reduces time and cost. I recommend the following tips for GPRS users.

• Download Opera Mini for Internet Browsing. It is thelatest and most easiest way to surf the Internet on your cell phone. To download just go to your mobile browser and type: m.opera.com in your address field.


• If you send SMS from your Message Menu in your phone. You will have to pay 0.62 Rs. (currently from NTC - NTC). But you can go to: http://websms.ntc.net.np/ from Opera Mini from your phone and send web sms which will reduce your cost.


• Download Instant Messengers like eBuddy and Mig33 which allows multiple accounts. Hotmail, Yahoo, Gmail, AIM etc. at the same time. You can be online day and night.
