How to earn from Forex Trading?

Trading in an exchange market is an interesting and gripping process. Nothing can give you a greater feeling of joy pride than the money earned in financial markets. In our time, the trader, who earns money every month, is rightfully considered the symbol of success.

Let\'s give a concrete example of a possibility to earn money on the changing rate of the currency pair EUR/USD (euro/dollar) in an operation with one lot. Let\'s suppose that the current quote is 1.2379. On the basis of technical and/or fundamental analysis you have predicted that euro will rise even higher, and you have bought euro for dollars, planning to sell it at a higher price. Fluctuation of the pair EUR/USD during the day is from 80 to 120 points. If your forecast is true, then in a couple of days you\'ll be able to close the position at the quote 1.2545. This transaction looks as follows: opening the position, you buy 100,000 EUR and sell 1.2379*100,000=123 790 USD, closing the position, you sell 100,000 EUR and buy 1.2545*100,000=125 450 USD.

So, you have managed to earn 125 450 - 123 790 = 1 660 USD

In order to earn money in the exchange market in a stable way, you don\'t have to sit by the monitor for hours. Thus, for example, at the current price of euro 1.2560, you can come to the conclusion, that when the price reaches the level 1.2605, quick rising up to the level 1.2850 will start. Then you\'ll be able to put limit buy order on euro, which will automatically work on 1.2605 without your additional order, and take profit order, which will close the profitable position, reaching 1.2850, also without any additional order.

Don\' forget that you can get a profit not only from the rising rate, but also from the falling one! For that it would be enough to sell the falling currency in order to buy it back at a lower price. Let\'s give an example. The current price of the British pound against US dollar (GBPUSD) is 1.9400. You think that the pound will fall down to the level 1.900 (usually such fluctuation can be caught within a week).

The transaction looks as follows:

opening the position, you sell 70,000 GBP and buy 1.9400*70,000=135 800 USD,

closing the position, you buy 70,000 GBP and sell 1.9000*70,000=133 000 USD.

So, you have managed to earn 135 800 - 133 000 =2 800 USD

NB!

All the abovementioned examples are given per one lot. If you trade with several lots, the final figures should be multiplied by the number of lots.

Pay attention to the specification of the contracts! Thus, one GBP/USD lot contains 70.000 GBP, one EUR/USD lot contains 100.000 EUR.

See the full version of the specification of the contracts for various currencies here.

THE MAIN TRADING REGULATIONS
Do not trade against the trend. Many new traders try to catch the sudden change of the tendency, then buy at the bottom of the market and sell at the very top of it. This is a faulty practice. In reality it\'s practically impossible to determine the moment when the market changes its direction. The price aim, which seems unattainable today, may turn into an easy passable border tomorrow. It\'s not sensible to open big positions using all the deposit. Any trader, whose deposit is bigger than a certain sum that seems big enough to him, starts feeling himself comfortable and free in the market. But even such a speculator has to insure himself from unjustified risks. You should not invest all your capital into trading. Differentiate your risks. Try to open positions on several financial instruments. Then the risks will be dispersed, and one incorrectly opened position will not influence the state of your financial portfolio. Limit your losses, using stop loss orders! Never cancel a stop loss order. Stop loss orders are your insurance from big losses, and most of successful traders always use them in their trading strategies.

PLAYING WITH RISING AND FALLING
The rule \"buy cheap, sell expensive\" is well known to everybody. This approach describes the point of the play with rising, when your income is derived from the market growth. But one of the advantages of the modern financial market is the fact that you can derive your income not only from the growing market, but also from the falling one. Seeing that some currency is getting cheaper, you don\'t have to wait for the trend turning around to the direction of growing, but you can sell this currency and earn money on its falling. Such an opportunity allows visiting the market more often, earning money.

ADVANTAGES OF MARGIN TRADING
Transactions in the FOREX market are carried out on the principle of margin trading. Margin trading is a comfortable and most popular way for small investors to conduct transactions in exchange markets. A small starting capital allows to conduct transactions for the sums that are many times bigger than the capital itself. Trading in the exchange market, a trader for each invested dollar gets a credit from his broker for 100 dollars more. That is, having 2,000 dollars on your trading account, in the real market you can operate with the sum of 200,000 dollars. Thus, having even a small sum of money, you can open contracts for many millions, risking only by your small deposit.

Shopping Tips: Buying Clothes

1) Be prepared when you go shopping. Spur of the moment purchases are fine for small items, but they often lead to buyer\'s remorse. Before hitting the mall, take stock of what items are sorely missing from your closet and how much you can realistically spend. Be sure to dress comfortably and give yourself plenty of time in the stores. This will allow you to make decisions out of reason, not rush.

2) While shopping, stay focused on the clothing items you need. You may want to try shopping alone to avoid the distraction of friends. Always try on clothes in front of a three-way mirror and have a definite purpose in mind for each purchase. Keep in mind the body you have right now and don\'t be tempted to buy clothes for the body you wish you had. If you find a knowledgeable salesperson, don\'t be afraid to tell her what you are looking for. She\'ll be able to help you find the highest quality clothes for your budget, and she may even alert you to upcoming sales.

3) As you make decisions, remember that clothing shopping should be an investment. You should buy clothes of high quality that will last for many years. You may also want to buy items of clothing in complete outfits so you know that you will definitely wear them. If you find a pair of pants or a shirt that fits perfectly, feel free to buy the item in multiples. That perfect fit could be difficult to find again on your next shopping venture.

Nepal gets new three-member communist cabinet

Veteran communist leader Madhav Kumar Nepal dispensed with god but kept the traditional Nepali attire Monday to take oath of office and secrecy at the head of a fledgling three-member cabinet, that, his rivals warned, would last only three months.

The 56-year-old, whose first job was a cashier’s at a bank, is now officially republican Nepal’s second prime minister, succeeding Maoist supremo Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda and assuming the herculean task of drafting a new constitution by next year.

Wearing the daura suruwal - the traditional loose pants and long shirt that was obligatory during King Gyanendra’s rule but gave way to the universal western suit after the restoration of democracy in 2006 - the veteran politician was sworn in by President Ram Baran Yadav in a brief ceremony in Rastrapati Bhawan, the presidential office, at 11.10 a.m. local time.

Like his predecessor Prachanda, Nepal declined to take the oath of office and secrecy in the name of god. Nepal simply said: “I take the oath”.

The new premier then administered the oath to his tiny cabinet of two. Both the ministers are from his own party, the Communist Party of Nepal-Unified Marxist Leninist (UML).

Surendra Pandey, a trusted lieutenant, became the new finance minister, replacing his Maoist predecessor Baburam Bhattarai. Bidya Devi Bhandari, the widow of charismatic UML leader Madan Bhandari, who died in a car crash in 1993, has been given the defence ministry that had been held earlier by Maoist leader Ram Bahadur Thapa Badal.

Soon after the new cabinet was ushered in, the first changes began to come in with the attorney-general, Raghav Lal Baidya, tendering his resignation.

Though a three-week impasse following the fall of the Maoist government finally ended, there were signs of continuing internal turmoil.

Two of Nepal’s key coalition partners - the Nepali Congress and Madhesi Janadhikar Forum - have still not been able to finalise their list of ministers. The Forum is grappling with a potential split in its own files and ranks over joining the government.

The Maoists dismissed the government as a puppet propped up by India and said its days were numbered.

Senior Maoist leader Baburam Bhattarai said the communist-led coalition government will not last beyond three months.

While the former rebels have said they would boycott the new government, they decided to maintain decorum and sent their deputy chief in parliament, Narayan Kaji Shrestha, to attend the swearing-in.

The ceremony was also attended by senior government officials, politicians, diplomats based in Kathmandu and army officials, including army chief General Rookmangud Katawal.

The previous Maoist government had collapsed after a row with the UML and other allies over sacking the army chief.

Nepal, who had spent 16 years underground when political parties were banned in the country, said his priority would be to complete the peace process and write a new constitution in time. His government, he said, will also restore law and order and address people’s aspirations.

A commerce graduate and a former deputy prime minister as well as foreign minister, the new office resurrects the political career of a man who was compelled to quit as party chief last year after losing the election from two constituencies.

Nepal has also pledged to maintain good relations with all foreign governments, including India and China, and not in indulge in any blame game, unlike the Maoist government.

Prime Minister Prachanda's Secret Video

A video tape where Nepal's outgoing premier Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda tells his cadres that the country's peace process is no more than a tactic has been leaked to embarras his Maoist government that now rules as a caretaker. But it may end up embarrassing other major parties as well and cast doubts about the credibility of the peace process.

Nepal's private television channels on Tuesday night broadcast footage of Prachanda telling combatants of his guerrilla army that though he signed a peace pact with the major parties and agreed to take part in an election, it was part of a "revolutionary counter-attack" meant to carry on the revolt under a different strategy and capture complete power.

Just months away from the historic constituent assembly election in April 2008 that transformed Nepal from the world's only Hindu kingdom into a secular republic, the rebel supremo told his People's Liberation Army (PLA) fighters that the party had inflated the PLA strength almost fivefold during a verification by the UN.

"You all know that we were a small force," Prachanda said in the tape made
during a PLA training session.
The tape also showed Prachanda saying the party would continue to buy arms for an ultimate fight to capture absolute power.

Lock your Folders

How to Lock Or Hide A Folder, A File Or A Drive On The Computer

Source: MakeUseOf
These days, hiding or locking a folder or file is probably something you will need if you use a computer that others use too.

A previous post has been written on this topic here but I have found a few other methods of doing such a thing, excluding download programs that can be easily accessible to others.

Windows
Method 1 (the easy one)

  • Click “Start”, “Run,” and then type cmd. When the command prompt opens type “CD C:\Test” (replace “Test” with the name of the folder you want to hide.)
  • Now type “attrib file +s +h” and replace “file” with the name of the actual file name you would like to hide.
  • Now, go back to C:\Test and look for your file or folder, it’s not there! You cannot find it through simply browsing around, through the command prompt, or even if you click “Show Hidden Files and Folders”.
  • To find the folder and it’s contents again simply go back to the command prompt, type “CD C:\Test” (of course, again replacing “Test” with the name of the folder,) and then type “attrib filename -s -h”. You should now be able to find your file again!

Method 2 (this is where it starts to get slightly more difficult)

This method, unlike the previous one, hides an entire drive instead of individual files or folders:

(Before you ever use the registry I HIGHLY RECOMMEND backing up your registry with a tool similar to Registry Tool or CCleaner. You may as well use a manual method similar to this.)

  • Go to “Start,” “Run,” and type regedit.
  • When the registry editor loads, navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\
    Policies\Explorer
  • Right click on “Explorer” and select “New” and “DWORD Value.”
  • Name the value NoDrives and select “Decimal” as the base.
  • In the value type the number that corresponds with the drive below:

(E.g. If you would like to hide drive E, type 16. You may also hide multiple drives by adding the two numbers. E.g. If you would like to hide drives E and G, 16+64=80.)
  • Now, after you restart your computer, you should not be able to see the drive.

Enjoy Locking Folders !

Buying a Digital Camera?? Keep in Mind

  • Whilst brand names can help you make a decision based on reliability or quality of picture, remember that sometimes a cheap camera will satisfy your needs as well as a more expensive one.

  • Decide if you want to Scroll or Press. Are you comfortable with wading through menus to change basic settings? Or would you rather just press a button? Smaller cameras may be cooler, but larger cameras have buttons.

  • Consider how wide you want to go. Smaller cameras have narrower-angle lenses, so you won't get that whole building in without getting way back. A 28mm (film equivalent) lens will give you all the wide you'll need.

  • Get a grip. Even some larger cameras have uncomfortably small hand grips. The grip should just fill the inside curve of your fingers. Many small cameras have no grip at all. Will you get a major finger cramp just trying to hold on?

  • Don't get too hung up on the megapixels. Lens quality and camera responsiveness are far more important. 5/6 megapixels is more than enough to create good quality 4x6 prints. Within a range of plus or minus 1 or 2 megapixels, the images will be virtually indistinguishable from one another (with an 8 megapixel camera compared with a 10 megapixel camera for instance, the difference in resolution is not significant).

  • Consider your need for speed. Many cheap cameras have a substantial time lag between pressing the button and actually taking the picture. If you're going to take pics of your kids, this is something to think about -- they move fast! Also, consider the continuous frame rate - for action shots, a continuous frame rate of at least 5 frames per second is desirable. The camera should be capable of taking 5 frames per second, for at least four seconds before the internal memory buffer is filled. Cameras with slower continuous frame rates and/or smaller internal memory buffers will be frustrating, and make certain types of photography difficult, if not impossible.

  • Battery Type. Many cameras use proprietary batteries, rather than standard AA batteries. Consider that someday, the battery that comes with your camera will stop working or get lost, and you will need to obtain a replacement. Your batteries will generally die at the worst possible time, like the first day of your vacation, or at your daughter's wedding. Proprietary batteries may be difficult or impossible to replace (especially on short notice), where many types of AA batteries are available nearly anywhere, and at any time.

  • Weight quality vs. quantity. A DSLR (that's a digicam with interchangeable lenses) will give you better pictures and is actually easier to operate than a small camera, but it'll weigh more and cost more.

  • Memory card format. Compact Flash cards are the defacto standard in professional cameras, and are available in capacities up to 16GB as of late 2006. The Compact Flash card format has been in constant use since its inception in 1994, and shows no sign of obsolescence in the forseeable future. Compact Flash drives and related software drivers are compatible with nearly all operating systems. Regardless of the camera you choose, it should be capable of using Compact Flash memory cards, perhaps in addition to the card format du jour. Smart Media cards were once a popular card format for digital cameras; they are no longer manufactured, nor are they used in digital cameras. SD or Smart Digital cards are (as of late 2006) a the most popular card format in consumer cameras, but are "only" available in capacities of up to 8GB.

  • Figure in the accessories! Most cameras don't come with a memory card or a card reader. Add them in when you're totalling cost. And don't forget batteries --get an extra set and a charger. And a bag, and...;-) - Choose a memory card with enough capacity to hold at least 400 images at the camera's highest JPEG resolution. This is equivalent to 11 rolls of 36-exposure film, and is adequate for most people.

  • Make room for zoom. With zoom you can switch between close up and a faraway point. There is a very important thing to think about when buying a camera and that is the difference between optical and digital zoom. Optical zoom measures the ability of the camera's lens and other parts to capture more light, and more detail, from a particular faraway point. That means that you get better-quality pictures taken from a distance while digital zoom works by capturing only the central portion of the entire image received by the sensor. It basically means that the digital zoom is really only a cropping tool, since it cuts off the parts of the image that would be out of the field of view if a longer focal length lens had been used. As optical zoom is much better and more clear don't get fooled with advertisements of digital zooms, it's the optical zoom you should be watching.

The trends of CCTV Security Cameras

Introduction:
Closed-circuit television (CCTV) is the use of video cameras to transmit a signal to a specific place, on a limited set of monitors.

It differs from broadcast television in that the signal is not openly transmitted, though it may employ point to point wireless links. CCTV is often used for surveillance in areas that may need monitoring such as banks, casinos, airports, military installations, and convenience stores.

In industrial plants, CCTV equipment may be used to observe parts of a process
from a central control room; when, for example, the environment is not suitable
for humans. CCTV systems may operate continuously or only as required to monitor
a particular event. A more advanced form of CCTV, utilizing Digital Video
Recorders (DVRs), provides recording for possibly many years, with a variety of
quality and performance options and extra features (such as motion-detection and
email alerts).
Surveillance of the public using CCTV is particularly common in the UK, where there are reportedly more cameras per person than in any other country in the world. There and elsewhere, its increasing use has triggered a debate about security versus privacy.

While Buying CCTV Security Cameras:
  • Evaluate your needs: Do you want to monitor general comings and goings? Do you want to see faces, merchandise, crowds? Do you need wireless or wired CCTV security cameras? Do you need an indoor and/or outdoor cctv camera systems? Do you need a 1, 2, 8 or 16 camera system? What is your budget?

  • Select the type of camera: There are two types of CCTV cameras, CMOS and CCD which are the image sensor. CMOS based cameras are cheaper but do not produce as clear and sharp image as CCD cameras.

  • Select black and white or color: If you are going to use the cameras in an environment where the light conditions are very low, it is recommended to buy a black and white CCTV camera system. Color should only be considered for inside use with good lighting conditions.

  • Understand light level: One of the most important specifications. Light levels are measured in Lux. The lower the number, the less light it will take to reproduce a clear image.

  • Understand resolution: The higher the resolution number, the sharper the image will be. Entry level camera resolution is 330 lines, high resolution cameras producing better than 400 lines.

  • Select a monitor that will match the resolution of your CCTV camera system.

  • CCTV cameras system recorders: DVR (digital video recorder) which record onto hard drives is the best option.

I was shocked to hear that the IPL was going to held elsewhere other than INDIA. I got the news from Yahoo!

Cricket's lucrative Indian Premier League will be organised
abroad this year as the government says it can not provide security at the same
time as national elections, an official said on Sunday. "Due to the attitude of
the government that it cannot provide security for the tournament, we are forced
to take a decision to move the IPL out of India," the country's cricket chief
Shashank Manohar told reporters here.
"A final decision on the venue will be
announced in two to three days."
South Africa and England are the two
countries being considered as the likely venues, an IPL source told AFP.
IPL
commissioner Lalit Modi told reporters at the same media briefing that the
59-match tournament would be held between April 10 and May 24.

New in Gmail Labs: Undo Send

Gmail has brought up a new feature in the Google Labs: Undo Send - feature which allows you to edit/modify the email which you have sent just before. It's really interesting and helpful for those who are in hurry when they send email. If you just forgot to include something just undo send and make the changes and then resend it.. Wow !

GMAIL says:

"Sometimes I regret sending a message the
morning after
. Other times I send a message and then immediately notice
a
mistake. I forget
to attach a file
or email the birthday girl that I can't make her
surprise
party. I can rush to close my browser or unplug the Internet — but
Gmail almost
always wins that race. An email to the wrong Larry pushed me
over the edge. I
could undo just about any other action in Gmail — why
couldn’t I undo send? Many
people agreed, including Yuzo Fujishima, an
engineer in the Tokyo office. My
theory (which others
shared
) was that even just five seconds would be enough time to catch
most
of those regrettable emails. And now you can do just that. Turn on Undo
Send in Gmail
Labs
under Settings, and you’ll see a new “Undo” link on every sent mail
confirmation. Click “Undo,” and we’ll grab the message before it’s sent and
take
you right back to compose."

Punk Fashion

Punk fashion is the styles of clothing, hairstyles, cosmetics, jewelry, and body modifications of the punk subculture. Punk fashion varies widely from Vivienne Westwood styles to styles modeled on bands like The Exploited. The distinct social dress of other subcultures and art movements, including glam rock, skinheads, rude boys, greasers, and mods have influenced punk fashion. Punk fashion has likewise influenced the styles of these groups, as well as those of popular culture. Punks use clothing as a way of making a statement.

The 1970s were a strange and progressive time for fashion. The most memorable fashion trend of the 70s was the rise of disco fashion that was popular throughout the mainstream. Seemingly symbolizing glamour and excess, it wasn’t surprising that a new type of fashion trend emerged that seemed to be the antithesis of disco fashion: punk fashion. Whereas disco fashion represented celebration, punk fashion represented anti-authority. Disco fashion was reflective of excessively enjoying your life, whereas punk fashion drew its inspiration from a source of anger. Punk fashion was considered to be arty, underground, and weird. However, strangely enough, punk fashion is now far more influential in current fashion than disco fashion, and dare we say, even more mainstream.
It’s very strange to see how punk fashion has been co-opted in the latest fashion trends, but it’s true. Such punk fashion staples as controversial t-shirts, tattoos, leather jackets, skinny ties, military boots, Chuck Taylor All Stars shoes, and short, spiky hair are quiet common when you go through any town in this country. Dyed hair, ripped fishnet stockings, heavy eyeliner, and safety pins are common punk fashion accessories that can be seen in popular fashion today.
It is important to remember that there are so many different subcultures of punk fashion that have their own different fashion rules. For example, early punk fashion was strongly defined by the designs of Vivienne Westwood. An amalgamation of mod and greaser fashion styles, early punk fashion was truly confrontational, although also a bit flaky. More popular punk fashion includes what is known as skate punk fashion. Skate punk fashion traditionally involves wearing baggy or torn jeans. Additionally, hooded sweatshirts or hoodies that include some kind of logo is practically a uniform in skate punk fashion. Of course, wearing skate shoes made from such popular brands as Vans, Etnies, Emerica, and so many others is considered to be the norm in skate punk fashion.
Of course many punks decry skate punk fashion as being too mainstream and there are many other types of punk fashion subcultures that are also becoming popular. Punk has always had a political edge to it and this can be seen in what is known as crust punk fashion. Generally in crust punk fashion that is influenced by 80s punk fashion (particularly hardcore) involves wearing camouflage trousers, torn shirts of popular punk bands, and studded vests. Patches that have political messages are worn and in many cases crust punk fashion involves dreadlocks. On the flipside of this is what is known as horror punk, which combines traditional punk fashion with goth fashion. Black clothes are worn and makeup is elaborately worn by both sexes. This type of punk fashion is heavily influenced by the popular 80s punk band, The Misfits.
It’s truly amazing to see how much influence punk has had on the music and fashion world. What started out as a spontaneous fashion movement that was opposed to the mainstream has become part of the mainstream. However, with its innovative designs and stylish looks, it’s easy to see why punk fashion has succeeded for all of these years!

Hip-hop Style

In the late seventies, a new and distinctive sound arose from the streets of New York. The sound was hip-hop, and nearly twenty years later, it has transcended the street parties and music clubs of New York to become a worldwide cultural force.

Simply put, hip-hop music consists of a DJ mixing rhythmic passages of albums on a turntable while a rapper raps over the beats. But hip-hop is a culture unto itself, equipped with its own language, lyrical style, visual arts (graffiti), dance moves and look.

Although hip-hop is the musical outgrowth of urban African-American culture, its popularity is not bound by geography or culture. According to Soundscan, the company that charts record sales, three-quarters of all hard-core rap albums were sold to white consumers in 1994.

Furthermore, more and more suburban teens, taking their cue from their urban counterparts, have adopted the style and the trends of hip-hop's artists and its adherents.

From city, to suburbs and beyond...

Baggy pants, oversized athletic jerseys, expensive sneakers, long a fashion standard of the hip-hop community, have become the unofficial uniform of suburban fans. And thanks to music videos, films and hip-hop magazines, teens in the suburbs and outside the U.S. can stay informed with "what's going on" in the city.

This suburban emulation of urban style not only confirms the cross-cultural popularity of hip-hop, but it also recognizes the importance of the "street" in determining fashion trends. In the world of hip-hop, "street credibility" means acceptance. And for the fashion industry, attaining "street credibility" can mean big profits.

Clothes + Music = Fashion

Fashion and music have enjoyed a creative relationship in the past, just think of The Grateful Dead and hippies in the 60s, disco in the 70s and Madonna in the 80s. Often big-name fashion designers are the last to jump on the boat.

It took almost 20 years for the mainstream fashion industry to experiment with hip-hop fashions. Critics claim that the fashion industry's sudden interest in hip-hop stems more from the enormous profit potential of this untapped market of brand conscious consumers than from any creative interest. But whatever its reasons may be, big and small players in the mainstream fashion industry are looking toward the hip-hop community for inspiration.

E-Governance

What is e-Government?
E-government is the use of information and communications technologies (ICT) to transform the traditional government by making it accessible, transparent, effective and accountable. E-government does not mean putting more computers on the desks of government officials. And e-government is more than just a government website on the Internet. Political, social, economic and technological aspects determine e-governance. It establishes a relationship between government officials and citizens, providing greater access to government information and services by making the government accessible online; promoting citizen participation by enabling citizens to interact more conveniently with government officials, such as by requesting government service and filing required documents through website; increasing government accountability by making its operations more transparent, thereby reducing the opportunities for corruption; and supporting development goals by providing business, rural and traditionally underserved communities with information, opportunities and communications capabilities. E-government is not only used in developed countries. Some of the most innovative uses of the Internet in governance are being successfully used in the developing countries, as well.
E-government will not be successful just only buying more computers and putting up websites. It’s not sufficient to automate administrative practices from the paper system to digital system. Rather, e-government is a process of transforming government; it requires planning, political will and a sustained dedication of resources. Success of e-government will not be guaranteed with the mere purchase of advanced technology or the direct automation of complex procedures until it can increase the rate of citizen participation there by bringing about the greater effectiveness in government. Technology introduction can not change the mentality of bureaucrats who do not view the citizen as valued customer of government or an important participant in decision-making.
Why e-Governance?
We are in the process of building "New Nepal". "New Nepal " should not become only a popular slogan but really the "New Nepal" with all the positive values and aspirations of its citizens geared towards the peace and progress. There are many dimensions streamlined and drivers identified to make our "New Nepal" dreams come true. One of such dimensions is the reformation of the government. Governance and its service process should be well reengineered to fulfill the aspirations of its citizens. Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and its tools can help its effective and efficient transformation.
With the advent of the information age, the ways we work, study, and live have been experiencing dramatic changes. Due to the influence of economic and information globalization and the rise of the digital economy, governments are "reinventing" themselves to meet new expectations and the priorities of citizens and businesses. These dynamics are compelling many governments to create a new vision for its relationship with businesses and citizens and to create a new organizational structure to fulfill its mandate. E-Government can fulfill the mandate of government formulating a new vision of how government views its citizens, employees and businesses, and building a citizen-centered, service-oriented, public-participative government with efficient, accountable, transparent and performance government system. ICT based online service is the most democratic and unbiased service system. It offers equal opportunity to all races, genders, ethnic groups.
E-Government breaks the barrier of geographical diversity and makes the government services handy to all citizens at villages who are even not connected by roads and opens up many opportunities, provided Internet connectivity is available either through wireless communication, fiber optic cables, dial-ups, VSATs or whatever other medium.
Besides providing service to citizens, it’s important to empower and motivate government employees to expect better service from them. E-Governance should transform the government workers into empowered knowledge workers. Nepal should not miss the benefits of global economy and specially the benefits offered by Internet.
Strategic Objectives of e-Governance:
The strategic objective of e-governance is to support and simplify governance for all parties - government, citizens, businesses and its employees. The use of ICTs can connect all three parties and support processes and activities. There may be two major objectives of e-governance:
1. Service to the Public:
This objective of e-government is to satisfactorily fulfill the public’s needs and expectations on the front-office side, by simplifying their interaction with various online services. The use of ICTs in government operations facilitates speedy, transparent, accountable, efficient and effective interaction with the public, citizens, business and other agencies.
2. Efficient Government:
In the back-office, the objective of e-government in government operations is to facilitate a speedy, transparent, accountable, efficient and effective process for performing government administration activities. Significant cost savings (per transaction) in government operations can be the result.
For implementing these strategies into reality, government must be subjected to transformation.
The transformation process is not so easy and not so simple. It requires a coherent strategy and should begin with an examination of the nation’s regulatory environment and the ability of the population to make use of planned technologies. The primary driving factor for e-government reform should not be the potential it offers to save money and reformation does not mean cutting staff. The savings incurred from e-government initiatives most often benefit the businesses and citizens utilizing the improved system more so than the government agencies that invested in them to begin with. In order to realize the benefits of transformation themselves, governments must develop a citizen-centric model involving key stakeholders outside of government—community, businesses, professional associations, scientists, academics and NGOs. Without their input and demand, even e-government projects that focus on internal government processes may not prove successful because citizens are unlikely to use a system that does not respond to their needs.
Process reform, leadership, strategic investment, collaboration and citizen participation are essential elements in the transformation process. Once government makes strategies to transform the governance process, it must prepare to meet the significant challenges and opportunities that will arise during implementation. The implementation process should address the issues of infrastructure development, law and public policy, e-literacy, accessibility, privacy, security and workforce issues. Awareness, education and rollout programs are also needed. To make the e-governance initiative successful, a good marketing program is required through out the country to encourage citizens to make use of them.

Search Engine Optimization

Search engines are one of the primary ways that Internet users find Web sites. That's why a Web site with good search engine listings may see a dramatic increase in traffic. Everyone wants those good listings. Unfortunately, many Web sites appear poorly in search engine rankings or may not be listed at all because they fail to consider how search engines work. In particular, submitting to search engines (as covered in the Essentials section) is only part of the challenge of getting good search engine positioning. It's also important to prepare a Web site through "search engine optimization." Search engine optimization means ensuring that your Web pages are accessible to search engines and are focused in ways that help improve the chances they will be found.
This next section provides information, techniques and a good grounding in the basics of search engine optimization. By using this information where appropriate, you may tap into visitors who previously missed your site.
The guide is not a primer on ways to trick or "spam" the search engines. In fact, there are not any "search engine secrets" that will guarantee a top listing. But there are a number of small changes you can make to your site that can sometimes produce big results.
Let's go forward and first explore the two major ways search engines get their listings; then you will see how search engine optimization can especially help with crawler-based search engines.

As per Wikipedia,
Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of improving the volume and quality of traffic to a web site from search engines via "natural" ("organic" or "algorithmic") search results. Typically, the earlier a site appears in the search results list, the more visitors it will receive from the search engine. SEO may target different kinds of search, including image search, local search, and industry-specific vertical search engines.
As an Internet marketing strategy, SEO considers how search engines work and what people search for. Optimizing a website primarily involves editing its content and HTML coding to both increase its relevance to specific keywords and to remove barriers to the indexing activities of search engines.
The acronym "SEO" can also refer to "search engine optimizers," a term adopted by an industry of consultants who carry out optimization projects on behalf of clients, and by employees who perform SEO services in-house. Search engine optimizers may offer SEO as a stand-alone service or as a part of a broader marketing campaign. Because effective SEO may require changes to the HTML source code of a site, SEO tactics may be incorporated into web site development and design. The term "search engine friendly" may be used to describe web site designs, menus, content management systems and shopping carts that are easy to optimize.
Another class of techniques, known as black hat SEO or Spamdexing, use methods such as link farms and keyword stuffing that degrade both the relevance of search results and the user-experience of search engines. Search engines look for sites that employ these techniques in order to remove them from their indices.

Major Search Engines:
Online Shopping

Online shopping is the process consumers go through to purchase products or services over the Internet. An online shop, eshop, e-store, internet shop, webshop, webstore, online store, or virtual store evokes the physical analogy of buying products or services at a bricks-and-mortar retailer or in a shopping mall. The metaphor of an online catalog is also used, by analogy with mail order catalogs. All types of stores have retail web sites, including those that do and do not also have physical storefronts and paper catalogs.

Online shopping is a type of electronic commerce used for business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) transactions. The term "Webshop" also refers to a place of business where web development, web hosting and other types of web related activities take place (Web refers to the World Wide Web and "shop" has a colloquial meaning used to describe the place where one's occupation is carried out).
